Announced: The Junior Aspirations at The Bluffs

The objective of the JGTA is to provide junior golfers with a platform to advance their college golf standing and hone their game in recognized events during the offseason. AJGA PBE Status will determine the tournament field for the JGTA Aspirations at the Bluffs, resulting in and competitive field of future stars from across the Asia-Pacific. The JGTA maintains a global membership base, representing over 15 countries. Junior golf families from as far as the United States travel to Asia to compete in JGTA events.

The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip is more than just a golf course, it is the perfect escape for junior golf families looking for a getaway. Ranked #35 out of the Top-100 “World’s Greatest Courses” by Golf Digest, The Bluffs at Ho Tram Strip will be an unforgettable experience for all who attend. Greg Norman, the course designer, describes the surreal course:

As the official host venue of the JGTA Junior Aspirations at The Bluffs, Vietnam’s top rated club, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip, is aiming to help launch young Asian talent along the same path as Tiger Woods and Jordan Speith when it hosts the nation’s first ever Junior Golf Tour of Asia (JGTA) event.

“We are absolutely delighted to be bringing a JGTA event to The Bluffs,” said Gary Dixon, General Manager. “The college golf system in the US is rightly seen as a hothouse for some of the biggest names in the game and the JGTA can provide a convenient fast-track to that route for promising golfers in Asia. The JGTA Junior Aspirations at The Bluffs adds The Bluffs at Ho Tram Strip to the list of elite golfing venues on the JGTA along with Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club, Seshan International Golf Club, and more.

Announced earlier this season, TaylorMade Golf, an industry leader in product innovation and technology, is a Premier Partner of the JGTA through 2022. Players on site at the JGTA Aspirations at The Bluffs will feel the TaylorMade “Buzz”.

The winners of the Boys and Girls Divisions at the JGTA Junior Aspirations at The Bluffs will receive an exemption into the JGTA Championship Invitational, taking place from June 16-19, 2019 at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China where the JGTA Players of the year and Junior All-Asia Team members will be announced.
