KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational
The KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational takes place this week at The Blessings Golf Club in Johnson, Arkansas, and three All-Asia Team Honorees are competing. Among the All-Asia Team honorees competing is Junior Order of Merit leader and JGTA Taiwan Junior Championship winner Junyi Tang (2021) of Beijing, China is competing in the Boy’s Division. Junior Order of Merit Leader and JGTA Bintan Lagoon Junior Championship presented by dwell Student Living winner Camille Boyd (2020) of (USA) Shanghai, China as well as JGTA Taiwan Junior Championship winner Jana Ni (2021) of Beijing, China are competing in the Girl’s Division.
The KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational is no stranger to international winners. In 2016, Harmie Constantino (2018) of Taguig, Philippines won in the Girl’s Division after firing 68-75-67 and the current Boy’s leader in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Karl Vilips (2020) of (Australia) Wesley Chapel, Florida won with scores of 72-70-68.
The Girls champion of the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational will earn an exemption into the Symetra Tour’s Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout that takes place September 14-16 at Mystic Creek Golf Club in Arkansas.
This will be the fourth year that the KPMG Stacy Lewis Invitational returns to Arkansas and the sixth time that Blessings Golf Club will host an AJGA event. Blessings Golf Club, home to the University of Arkansas, is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design that opened in 2004.
Many more JGTA members that are not on the JGTA All-Asia Team are competing at other AJGA events this week including the AJGA Junior at Saddlebrook, the AJGA Reno / Tahoe Junior at ArrowCreek and the Mahoning Valley Hospital Foundation Junior All-Star.
